It’s no wonder why, with so many travelers looking for hassle-free, relaxing, value-added vacation experiences and so many travel agents looking for profitable, easily attainable revenue streams.
There is a trend among today's travelers to streamline the vacation process, maximizing valuable time and minimizing hassle by choosing in one efficient package all the components of a vacation that will bring much enjoyment and value for all. This trend is evidenced by the YP&B Yankelovich Partners' 1999 National Leisure Travel Monitor, which reports that 56 percent of leisure travelers want an all-inclusive vacation that covers air, accommodations, meals, and ground transportation. Travelers named "all-inclusive resorts" as one of their highest areas of vacation interests, preceded only by the choices of "beach/lake" and "visiting friends and relatives."
